This past week marked the end of the first academic term for the St. George’s Senior School, which was then capped off by a 4-day weekend noted as ‘Term Break’. This break gives both students and faculty a chance to relax and let go for a much-needed weekend, and perhaps even allows for a small vacation. Some are even forced to head off somewhere as Harker Hall was closed for the extent of the weekend. Although this break coincides perfectly with American thanksgiving, the school stresses that there is no accordance. As well as the opening of Whistler for ski/board season, we are all told that this is merely a happy coincidence, but offers us another alternative for the long-weekend.
