The Student Voice of St. George's School

The Creed

Jay Luo
Jay Luo began his journey at Saints back in Grade 6, when he was still a fledgling writer that was just starting to understand rudimentary narratives and essays. Now in Grade 10, Jay is actively involved in the Concert and Jazz Bands, the OPUS, student government, and GPACs. Jay is an experienced swimmer and has been competing for the swim team since Grade 6 and is a certified water safety instructor. He spends most of his time nowadays training on the tennis courts to prepare for the upcoming tennis season. Jay has always been intrigued by current political and societal events and loves reading scientific news articles about science, technology, and finance. Jay likes to write about athletic events, performing arts events, and club events at Saints and believes that journalism is an insightful way to document our personal and school lives. During his spare time, Jay enjoys playing the piano, reading articles, listening to music, and watching movies. Jay is excited for his first year with the Creed and looks forward to keeping track of the memorable events and achievements of the St. George’s community.
